I have a question.
I tried something similar with my leftovers. It was just a simple turkey stew. After I had boiled the turkey for long enough for the meat to fall off, the bones came apart to. The stew was great, but had lots of little bones in it that I couldn’t find to fish out. My question is, how do I get all the bones out?
omg no can openeR?
I made the cranberry crumble earlier this week. I used canned cranberries but OMG this was so good. We heat it up and eat it for dessert after pretty much every meal so far. It’s so satisfying with how cold it is outside. This recipe is going in the book
what if i use regular paprika ?
beautiful, and im so hungry now
yes! definitely!
There is nothing i love more than leftover boiled potatoes fried with ginger spice, and sesame seeds and then added just at the end of frying some chopped celery for a nice cool crispy bite!
mmmmmmm
This looks really good, I was wondering if you guys would do an episode on making bread. I love freash bread and we never seem to be able to buy enough bread. so PLEASE
Love the hints there. Sometimes the left overs make better meals LOL.
That all looked delicious…I wouldn’t have put the turkey bones in the soup though because there are impurities that seep out of the bones and rise to the surface of the simmering liquid, and if you bring it to a boil the stock will be cloudy….sorry
I’m a Culinary student and a total food nerd. BTW the cranberry bars looked yummy as well. I might have added some orange zest to them.
Cathy made those specific peppers, but we also made them on our pickling episode.
LOL! the can seems more like the victim
seriously when she said “carcass” i was like “what?!”, but it looks yummy!! hungry…
i’ve totally done that with a can. and a turkey. ripped them to shreds! delicious!
not to waste foods…yes is very good ..
That sammich looked good.
its in their pickles episode.
Could we get the recipe for the homemade canned peppers that were used? I would love to learn how to can peppers and all sorts of veggies.
I know right? just get a can opener!
sounds delicious, but I would use either soy milk or coconut milk…other than that sounds mmm mmm mmm!!!
how do you guys keep from gaining weight when there’s great food at your finger tips? The only reason I don’t engorge is because the food I make is painful enough during the first serving.
Last year after thanksgiving we made empanadas out of the left overs. We used extra pie crust for the crust and inside we put leftover turkey, stuffing and cranberries. They were my lunch for a week.
All that stuff looks delicious
How could you do that to your knife?
Looks absolutely delicious. I’ll go make some soup using the dumpling idea since I have some extra mashed potatoes around.
