MSU Student Organic Farm
Michigan State University’s Student Organic Farm provides teaching and research on Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Horticulturist Dr. John Biernbaum works closely with students, who use the 10 acres on campus to grow fruits and vegetables, to keep bees and to raise poultry (for the eggs). Congratulation on taking the plunge and going Organic, if only the whole world would! I understood what the term organic farming meant when I realized that it was how my grandparents farmed from 1900 onwards – biologically not chemically.
