Why is organic better than regular super market fruits and vegetables?

I heard that organic food is better and healthier….is it true?

Organic foods don’t have any pesticides on them that can potentially make you sick further down the road as some are carcinogins. They also aren’t genetically altered and grown in their purest form.
In other words – it’s all up to your perception. Organic is something that has become popular over the last few years as Americans get more and more freaked out about their health.
Not better or healthier. Just “politically correct” and a marketing ploy.
