How come pople prefer artificial food? How come you don’t tell your local market to sell organic food?

Artificial food is better tasting…
CUZ ITS CHEAPER …
If my food doesnt have JUST the right amount of pesticides in it, it’ll taste like cat crap.
Organic food is usually more expensive, and while some people would like it, with the economy in the state it’s in some people just can’t afford it. It’s all they can do to pay their bills and keep food on the table for their families, much less organic. For other people, they just don’t care!
Unfortunately it comes down to the cost. People that say that organic doesn’t taste good, or is just soy and tofu have no clue what they are talking about. Organic is great but just costs too much, until they figure out how to make organic on a mass scale so that the grower makes money, they seller makes money and the person buying it saves money most people will still buy regular over organic. (example, I own an organic bakery, a bag of regular flour costs $16 a bag of organic will cost me $60. we in turn have to charge a lot more charge a lot more of our products.) hope this helps
Yuck! I can’t stand artificial food. The people who like it are the people who grew up with it, they are accustomed to it so don’t like real fresh food.
All food is organic >So what exactly are you trying to say?
Big ag gets billions of $$ in subsidies to grow corn and soy which is made into artificial foods. The USDA pays corporate agriculture companies such ADM, General Mills, etc a lot to grow and pays them a lot to advertise their artificial junk to the masses.
the subsidies make the crap look cheap but kids, this is our money, paid for by our taxes. So the reality is this food is really more expensive than organic which gets around $10 million in grants and subsidies per year (that’s right about .001% of what convetional/GMO ag gets).
Artificial crap is made with sweeteners and salt the two tastes that are the most addictive to humans. So the reason people think this stuff taste better is because they are told it does and are physically addicted to it. that is also why it is quite hard for many people to go from a diet loaded with artificial foods to a diet rich in whole natural foods. And that is also why obesity, diabetes and other food related illness are becoming rampant in the western world-the bad food everybody is eating
