NO. As of this date, GM crops cannot be certified organically grown anywhere in the US.

Yes, but not according to the standards. There almost certainly is some level of genetically modified organisms in certified organic, just there isn’t supposed to be. The common modifcations can be tested for but there isn’t any test that will tell you something is genetically modified, what you do is look for a particular protein or proteins in known gentically modified varieties of the crop in question.

No but I believe the USDA organic program (which Oregon Tilth follows as the are a certifier for the USA) allows up to .5% contamination with the grain crops
