Why is organic important to you?
Less chemicals and drugs used in the food item.
Why do consumers choose organic?
Perceived healthier and less chemical “contamination”.
Why do farmers farm organic?
Some famers pick organic for enviromental reasons.
Do you personnally buy organics?
Some items… mainly meat.
If yes, why do you buy organic?
Meat is higher on the food chain so chemicals tend to concentrate a lot more in meat than fruits and veggies.
What things are important to you in your life?
Price… I don’t buy exclusively organic. It depends upon price.
Organic is important because, even though the FDA approves insecticides and other chemicals for use in producing food, it does not mean it’s actually safe to eat. Organic production also uses the methods of crop rotation which is a tried and true way, via centuries of use, to keep the soil rich and productive.
Consumers choose organics because their health and well-fare and that of the world is important to them.
Farmers choose organic, because even though they want to make money on their crops the realize that their land is their well-fare. If they ruin their land with chemicals, they will no longer be able to produce crops.
I do buy organics. I buy them for all of the reasons above.
Life is important. More importantly a healthy life is important.

why is important because I really don’t want to add anything more to my body than I already am. I have MS and have to give myself shots 3x a week, plus all these other pills. Some of the other food that is not organic were making me sick. I only eat free range chicken and mostly organic veggies and fruits. I am fine but still I don’t want to added anymore crap than I have too.
Not everyone is sick but people have allergies more than the use too, it might be one reason people are buying organic.
It’s also better for the environment, we have treated the land so badly by putting all these chemicals into it, they have to go somewhere, right back into the food, water and air. It is just better to treat the land better.
Organic is not important to me. I will take all the artificial taste, color and preservatives I can get. I like my food to taste good and look good.
