What are some good foods for a vegetarian diet?
I am a vegetarian and I was wondering of some healthy food choices I could make. I eat a lot of fruits and mostvegetabless, but I am lacking iron. What are some iron rich foods that stilll taste good?

I take iron vitamins everyday
nuts have lots of iron, and soy milk has some too.
Dark green veggies (spinach, kale, spring salad mix, brocoli, etc) are great for iron. Blackstrap molasses is very high iron. Whole grains like oatmeal. Beans. Pumpkin seeds. Potato skins.
iron is absorbed better if you eat vitamin C at the same time. It’s blocked by black tea and red wine.
Iron pills are a last measure, if your doctor tells you too. They’re not a first try, since they’re not absorbed as well as natural sources.
Some good tasting ideas – I usually start my day with oatmeal and dried fruit (iron and vitamin C.) I love spinach salads with strawberries and dried cranberries. Oatmeal banana bread with blackstrap molasses as a sweetener is yummy.
in my city theres this juice bar dedicated to good health (its got a gym and stuff attached) and in the display thing i saw a bottle of pills, and vegetarians take these pills ands its supposed to be helpful since they dont eat meat. i forgot what they are called but ill check for you when i go back there. you could try looking for them, they’re called “vegetarian pills” or something like that.
I don’t know much about iron but here’s some good food finds:
PB&J
Boca Burgers
Ambrosia
Mac + Cheese
Yogurt & Granola
Tomato soup
Fiber One bars
Cheese + Crackers + Spicy mustard
