The equipment is thoroughly cleaned between uses - or the company wouldn&#039;t survive - and the disclaimer is put on the product to cover the manufacturer&#039;s back in the extremely unlikely event that a minuscule particle of one type of food remains in the air and gets into another type.

The warning is intended not for vegans but for people with allergies. That&#039;s why so many products say it may contain traces of nuts and/or sesame seeds - very common allergens, as are milk and eggs. The manufacturers don&#039;t want to be sued.</description>
